In our “How to..” series we want to add this cool feature; vectorizing. Maybe you want to make a beautiful invitation for a party, or maybe you are a professional working with a new design by hand? Either way, to use Whitelines Link will make life easier.
Tools for vectorizing: a pen, Whitelines Link Paper, iPhone, Whitelines Link App, computer and Adobe Illustrator.
Whitelines LINK is ingenious! Anna is a genius! Olof is a genius! If they had a baby, she would be a super genius!
It’s amazing, but there is no Android app….
Which is funny, considering Android phones far out-number iPhones…
Wait, making an app targeted at the mobile operating system that controls 75% of the smartphone market? That would make sense.
Anyways, this is still pretty cool.
Thank’s for sharing Craig!
It has been easier for us to do it this way is the short answer.
But some day we might have an android version…

I really would love this on Android. The amount of notes I take in meetings, and the number of doodles I wish I could quickly digitize…!
@SEB You are not alone of wanting this. We have plans for an Android version of Whitelines Link, but we just don’t know when that might happen. Thank you for your input!
Hi Whitelines, im i guy who love graphic design and photoshop etc… but i have android and cant get a idevice, you really need to make it for android to.
I’m an android user, have been since virgin mobile came out with the samsung intercept, and have no plans to get another i-device. I just pre-ordered the samsung galaxy note 2 on vzw if that’s any indication(i’ll take quad core over dual core any day, teehee).
Just letting you know, another vote for android!

Android loves Whitelines. I would pay for this app if it works and is ad-free.
Whitelines loves Android, and soon they will hopefully marry..! Before June we hope.
Best!
Whitelines
long time fan/user of whitelines here. I’m not sure what the app does that illustrator doesn’t already do with livetrace, but i have to find out!
I love apple. I have been using their computers for 10 years now, but their phones/tablets are gated garden of proprietary blah.
galaxy note 2 – android whitelines app please!
it’s not about market demand, it is about providing creative tools and products for the most creative platform(s). android is the most free and easy.
Hi Rob!
What Whitelines Link is basically only to provide good images to work with in what ever program you choose. To vectorize the image in the film we also worked with Livetrace in Illustrator. It´s very simple as the app cleans the images instantly from background.
About Android… Yes, we are soon, we hope, launching an Android version. Before June if things goes as we plan.
Best!
Whitelines
Just discovered Whitelines and of course Link.
Very disappointed to learn there is no Android app.
Looks like it has to be Moleskine/Evernote for me.
It’s not 2007 anymore. Apple isn’t everything…
Hello, Sorry for the late answerf. As yo might have seen we are currently developing Whitelines Link for Android. Have a look at our crowdfunding project igg.me/at/whitelines.se
We work with a bit imited resources since we are not the size of Moleskine. But we hope toget there!
